Eliminates manual and routine tasks as well as potential for human error.
Increased productivity and efficiency, drafting airfield layouts in minutes instead of hours.
Deliverables meets latest aviation industry standards.
DXF file format compatible with most CAD/GIS software and data sheets export to CSV.
AirCADPro is a tool to automatically generate industry compliant Computer Aided Design (CAD) airport plans and provide a summary of relevant planning and design standards. The generated airfield layouts are compliant with the latest standards. Components are instantly and dynamically generated from user inputs.
AirCADPro takes user inputs for airfield design standards, including critical aircraft characteristics, pavement dimensions, and orientation to automatically generate complex airport plans.
Output include runways, taxiways, and intersecting combinations thereof. The resulting DXF files include all relevant safety areas, as well as dimensions and annotations. The layouts are accompanied by a spec sheet that includes a summary of the relevant design standards.
All CAD linework is properly assigned to their relevant layers. The layer names are descriptive and intuitive.
Spend less time drafting and more time designing alternatives.
All blocks are generated complete with annotations and dimensions.
Customize your output by inputting parameters specific to your airport.

No, however users will need to use a CAD or GIS (Geographic Information System) software to open the resulting DXF file.
At a minimum, user will need:
• Number of runways and/or taxiways
• Critical aircraft characteristics and visibility or runway design code
• Runway and/or taxiway length(s)
Other parameters listed below can also be entered:
• Runway/taxiway orientation
• Coordinates (X and Y in decimal format not latitudes and longitudes)
The airport plan will be generated as a downloadable DXF file, and will be accompanied by a CSV listing the summary of standards used.
The CAD files are currently generated in 2D.
After entering the input parameters, the files are generated within seconds from hitting execute.
This version will use Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards from the FAA Advisory Circular 150/5300-13B published on 3/31/2022.
